A new shortcut for you: Click on the image to view the PDF location of the newsletters. etc. This is THE calculator cover to "calculate your savings" for a project called "Omaha Team Works" inside was a Texas Instruments TI-1100 calculator.
Unsure of the exact date of initialization (you can email me and provide facts if you wish), I think it involved groups of engineers, staff and employees that meet in groups of 6-12 people and discussed and documented ideas to save the company money on many manufacturing processes, administrative or etc. The reviewers (?) then attached a value to the idea, and a "team" won an award of value of the savings to be spent by the group. I this came under the John Heindel - V.Pres./General Mgr. time frame. If you have any more informative details, please email me, and I will gladly refresh this article with better facts. Email at: stephenmiller@cox.net The "WHITE CARD" inside the calculator cover explained what to do. The idea was to stimulate the creative minds in the plant to look for ways to increase cost savings...and what better way to entice the employees who worked day to day on these possible ideas to save the company dollars. Continuous slide show of photographs...
always looking for more images. Additional information to share...
This could be: retirement activities... such as breakfast or lunch meetings, social events, sports related events (golf/bowling) or other information of what all former employees of this facility are doing in retirement or after work. |
