From a former Ma Bell Division retiree who has a unique question...here is his email to me.
I'm a Cincinnati Bell person. I recently retired after 50 + years as a "phone man", started in 1967. A couple of years ago, I found a couple of AT&T Western Electric payphone plus units. For the last year, I have been trying to get these up and working as presents for my two kids, a little something to remember the old man. I have been able to find power supply units and they are " functional " to a degree. It appears that to program these phones, there is a software program called "Coinsoft".
I have been searching for a few months but have not been successful. I am still searching and came upon the OmahaWorks website and found your contact. I know it is asking a lot but would you be able to see if there is anyone around that might have a copy of this program or know where it might be found? Anything that you can do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Nick Perry (handle: Bell Boy) you can contact Nick at this email... nperry10417@fuse.net
